I am always being booted to the character screen while i'm refilling from my stockroom.
As u all know it can take a long time to do this ,and even though i'm constantly clicking mouse/keys i still get afk timeout kicking me.
If the calls for an easier way to restock are answered this will help ,but if not they should take us crafters/merchants who have to sit still for ages doing our work into account and adjust the afk thing.

if the problem continues then run a simple NonAutoLog macro.
/sit;
/pause 500;
/stand;
/pause 05;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
then place it in the F1 key slot.
Just hit F1 before you start your restocking proceedures. This will keep you in the game hun. Also works no matter where you are and step away for an unknown amount of time, or if you are just standing around talking to someone.
run in conjunction with a default macro
/ui action defaultButton;
/pause 01;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
then placed in the F2 key slot
you could make yourself an ID victim for those poor leveling ID's with no customers

Here's what I do whenever I'm gonna stop for a while:
Make a macro and name it StayInWorld.
/stand;
/pause 600;
/sit;
/pause 1;
/macro StayInWorld;
I always forget to turn it off, though, so sometimes when I'm trying to run away from something I'll just stop and sit down for no good reason. It frequently gets me eaten.

Something similar was happening to me when I was sitting around barking at a starport. After a few minutes my comp would end up on the character selection screen. Once here, I was unable to log back onto any servers and had to restart SWG and perform a full scan (crashed to desktop when trying to log in). After trying a number of things, I think I finally solved it: I accessed the power setting of my machine and made sure nothing ever turned off (I call this the SWG AFK power setting).

I've gotten the AFK timeout shopping on vendors and the bazaar. I use a simple macro to keep myself active to not get the boot:
smile
/smile;
/pause 480;
/macro smile;
What's fun is changing the first line to other things (/spit, /grin, /beam, /cry, /dies, /gasp, /emote thinks she/he/it/you broke wind) and surprise people in cantinas with some really funnt ones. Although the breaking wind one can get some really odd looks and /gasp from the lovely dancers (unless it is a buffbot, lol).

mine is justa macro named antiidle
/mood none
/pause 300
/macro antiidle
then in my key map I just bind the macro antiidle to home
and my dump macro to end
anytimeI step away I hit home,
no spam, no moevment..just antiidle
*I usually just hit this at log in and let it run no matter whatI am doing

I like the /mood thing.
The /smile thingspams spatial so I'm not a big fan of that.
I think I'll change mine since I could theoretically leave it running all the time.
A 600 second delay is enough to keep it working, though.

Hmmmm, I'll have to try the mood thing. I have the smile set on every 8 minutes or so the spammage is kept to a minimum but I'll change it to a mood change every couple of minutes and try that.Wasn't sure if mood changes worked for the anti-afk timeout defense.

They do, even though they spam you a little bit.
Once every 10 minutes (600 sec) is enough.
