So I'm working on my vendors today and I notice that their faces all look haggared and old.
This is not how they looked when I placed them and I'm quite unhappy about the change.
Please allow image designers to work their magic on vendors or reverse this change because it really isn't adding anything good to the game.

I agree with this. Either let the Image Designers be able to modify the vendors appearance or let the merchant pick the features like the new charecter screen. I only want good looking human female vendors. It takes me at least 30 minutes to an hour to get a vendor that I like. It seems like the old face appears more times than not. At least on the vendors that hair looks like it a female.

I agree, i think you should be able to customize your vendor like the new players customize there character. Not the clothes, just the appearence then you still need the skills to put clothes on it but till you can they wont be as ugly. hehe

I get tired of the bright green lipstick and neon blue eyebrows on female vendors. I've deleted hundreds of these trying to find the right one.

*sob* my beautiful twi'lek vendor now appears to be hundreds of years old
How come the vendors in my merchant tent age, yet the ones in my guild's guildhall/mall don't? They all look fresh out of the box :/

Droids, it's the only answer.
Also, maybe instead of picking specific settings, maybe allowing you "ranges" as you go up the Hiring tree. It would go from none, to young or old, to young adult, middle age, old, and then just keep defining it. This could also be added for things like height and weight. Also, getting cosmetics/tattoo colors to match would be nice (maybe Master setting of Matching Cosmetics/Random).
Allowing IDing is ideal, but setting ranges would keep the balance of taking a while to find the "perfect" employee and not making my eyes bleed when making vendors.

i feel for you. I have to use my husbands comp anytime i want to place a new vendor because for some reason, my vid card doesnt allow me to see age ... odd yes, but true. so i put in a reasonably attractive female vendor though through hundreds of trials i never was able to get the hairstyle i wanted and had to settle for the braided wrap ... ugh. she was young, skinny, and fairly attractive. So, i go about playing as normal on my comp. that was about a month ago. well being as i cant see age ... nothing ever changed, no problems. well today, i had to make 2 new vendors to put next to her. so ... log on to hubby's comp, stand there for a sec looking at her and OMFG!!! she is now a later in life aged hag with crows feet from h$ll!!! What is up with that?

I just can't do droids, and don't like terminals for selling clothing.
I have 1 female of every playable race helping me sell my cloths, and man did it take a long time to cull them to what I want
(they all do have a running theme of purple on them somewhere which was actually by chance)
They are all barefoot too, out of respect for The Wookiee, Ithorian, and Dosh gals, we all go sans shoes.
*cheer for tuskin boots not equipping on a female!

It takes me 5 or 6 tries to get a decently young one, and I end up having to accept the neon lipstick, or a potbelly. One that sneaked that past me, I decided was pregnant, and made it into a running joke.... she accuses everyone who comes into the shop of being the father... even the ladies!
