Thread: Things I rather see than the galaxy search

1) A function to remove all your items from the For Sale Tab and place them into the Stockroom Tab.
2) A function to offer a factory crate and for it to split it and place all items up for sale at a single price.
3) A function to resale items from the Stockroom based on item serials and have them all move back to the For Sale Tab.
4) A function to have reduced prices based on other players affiliation. The percentage is up to the vendor own and may or may not be used. I.E.
A)Offer a 10% discount to all members of your affiliation...Your Imperial and all imperials receive the discount..Neutral do not get to use the function - Affiliation Discount
B)Offer a 20% discount to all guild members - Guild Discount
C)Offer a 30% discount to members in your friends list - Friend Discount
D)Offer a sale for a set period of time and is open to all customers.
5) In the object filter, for weapons, armor, and shipwright items(Possibly more as these are the subjects I really know) increase the search ability to get even more detailed. For example, clicking on rifles will expand the filter to show all the different types of rifles.
6) Offer some sort of business summary every week. Show all sales, time of sales, most common sale items...it a pipedream I know.

Anything else you'd rather see happen first to increase your sales and effectiveness as a Merchant?

Allowing customers to view a backpack's contents while it's for salewould be greatly appreciated.


As a buyer I'm pretty skittishabout buying a travel pack without knowing what's inside. For example, atravel pack may be listed as a complete set of armor with XXX-resists, but how do I knowit's properly labeled? Could this seller be scamming me? Maybe it's just a bunch ofmaroj mellons.Maybe one bracer is totally inferior to the rest of the suit. How could I know for sure?


Also As a chef I buy packs fullof BE suppliments which can be priced in the millions. Because of the price I am paying, I will only shop at a well known, reliable BE's shop since I know what I'm getting.


Plus I'm not the only one to store a couple of packs on my vendors and list them at 99999999 credits. Sometimes I forget what's in them and have to cancel the sale and retrieve them into my inventory just because I'm looking fora certainstash of berries. With the new system I could just browse through them on the vendor.


That's all I have to say.

I really like the sale and discount suggestions too. My additional most wanted features:


1) A container that holds resources that counts as 1 item on the vendor. Each of my lightsaber resource kits currently takes 6 to 8 item slots on my vendor, limiting me to about 500 total items at master merchant. This isn't enough.


2) Letting my spambot live free while I fly around in space


3) The ability to move a vendor after it's placed. Preferably, the ability to pick up a vendor and carry it from one house to another while keeping its stock...make moving shop easier.


#'s4 and5 are probably just me...but would make my business much smoother...


4) The ability to crate "refined crystal packs"


5) A working /splitResource command



However, I do like some of the galaxy trade suggestions too. I'm not sure where I'd place that in this list. I'd probably prioritize as: (1), (galaxy trade), (5), (4), (2), (3)

i like all of these ideas especially the discounts, since I havea shop in my guilds mall I'd like to be able to place the items for normal price and only have my guildies get my discount, otherwise I'm not making what I could be

Sale/Ban


/vendorSaleGuild [initials] (all members of the listed guilds would recieve items at sale price)

/vendorSalePlayer [name] (all players listed " " " )

/vendorSaleFaction [alliance/imperial] (all players faction alligned " " " )

/vendorSaleFriends (all players on friends list " " " )

/vendorBanGuild [initials] (all members of the listed guilds would be banned from vendor services)

/vendorBanIgnore (all players on ignore list " " " )


The separate bans for vendors rather than just structures would help greatly for vendors placed in malls where the merchants do not have the ability to ban players from the structure where their vendor is placed.






Vendor/Merchant Interaction Functionallity



  • Check box to select all items on the vendors sales list (as mentioned) and withdrawl from selling list or add to items on sale list (sale list being items discounted)

  • Ability to set a sale percentage

  • Ability to shift/ctrl or check "all" box to relist items in the stock room at previously listed price/description

  • Ability to shift/ctrl items in inventory and add multiple items to vendor's sales list

  • Ability for customer to select quantity on resources and crates without merch having to break them down
    Put factory crates in their like item categories rather than in a "factory crate" category

  • "Open" function when examining backpacks on vendor (loved this idea)

  • Consignment functionallity

  • Ability to "move" stock from one vendor to any other vendor without having to retrieve items into inventory

  • Higher item caps for higher level merchs (6k is too little for a master merchant - maybe 6k per vendor ... great!!!)
