ok, so I log in this morning to find I'm 300 xp short of AD3, so I want to go ahead and get the 300 xp before I have to make the long run back to town for training (I need to run into town anyway). I get a friend to open my vendor... NO XP. I get her to buy something, got 50 XP. So I log my alt on the same server, get him to buy something (possible 50XP?!?) and every 10 mins she and I both buy something. Now at this point you are all yelling that this is no fair, but come on, I just want 300 xp to save me the extra trip back to town (and the shuttle fees) when I get this lvl. So ok, we do this for 30 mins (while I work on other things, PA issues), each buying something 3 times, should get me 300 xp. I relog and guess what... NO XP, NONE! So now what? We have to be online to get XP and we get no XP for someone opening our vendor? This worked last night, I know because I saw myself get 50XP when someone stopped by.

Merchant XP updates itself at random intervals. Logging on and off does not seem to help.

I'm just curious how you managed to get two characters on the same server. If you have two accounts the ok, but you make it sound like you only have one talking about logging off and logging back on your alt on the same server.

I wouldn't really see the point of having two accounts (like I do) without two computers to run them both at the same time.. but then again thats just me =P

Yes I have 2 accounts, AND 2 systems, but the other was in use when I did this and I was too lazy to set it back up for the game for just the 30 mins I needed both on. =)
