Thread: Deadbeat partners, How to remove their vendors?
Is there a way to remove an absentee partner's empty vendor from your own house?
Heya I have a weaponsmith, Iaka, on shadowfire, who started a merchant collective. I run the house and keep track of maintenance and decor, we all split costs and there are seven of us, masters in various crafts...well, there WERE seven of us, and that's the problem:
One guy bailed, apparantly, after the resource shift, and another is looking pretty flaky right now, hasn't shown up for a few days. Both have empty vendors sitting in prime spots in our store. I've tried removing them from admin list of house/banning them, but I can't seem to get rid of their vendors, and with 0 items on them even with the mainteneance fix, those things will be there forever.
Any way I can get rid of them? I've got people lined up to take over their slots in the store layout and I'm a little annoyed there's nothing I can seem to do. Heh, Can we get an eviction notice or something as a landlord that would let us kick out deadbeat vendors?
I can't just tak ethe house down, even if i could do it, and i'm not sure i can, I'd doubt I'd be able to get the other four partners to remove their several hundred items (no tto mention mine) and move in/out fast enough for our spot not to be grabbed by a competitor and certainly not without some serious downtime and business loss.
Thoughts?
I am having this exact same problem. Two of my partners have apparently up and quit and I can't get their vendors removed. They are now empty and I assume charging zero maintenence, thus I am not sure they will ever be destroyed from normal decay. I have tried removing/banning them - no help there.
Replacing the house is just not an option - we still have about 10 active vendors in there with hundreds and hundreds of inventory. House owners definitely need a better way to deal with this issue.

Wow, that sucks. That's why I control all the vendors in my shop and simply sell the other master's works by proxy. The only person I let have a vendor in my shop is my wife, and I know where she lives

Well, thats great to control all your own vendors, but it takes all my time doing weapons crafting and running my own, I literally sell upwards of 100 items each day across my 4 vendors, and I definitely don't need to double or triple that amount
