hello all,

i am master artisan and architect and i tried on my way to novice merchant to set up my first vendor.

but after i drop a house and created a vendor, i put in some items.

obviously as architect my prices are higher and i tried it out with some worth of 100k, then checked maintain status and couldnt believe it really.

it raised the rate to over 100! means i have to pay so much money, so much i can never sell frequently to keep up with this rediculous costs.

i thought its bugged so i destroyed and created new one different type this time terminal and not droid vendor, same thing happened.

i asked around to friends, who got merchant skills and they said its always 1 to 4 cr maintain rate and not more. i tried to chat with2 CSRs and well he got no clue about maintain rates.

so i plee you, pls enlight me! with such fees its not worth for me to use a vendor even, which is sad, i was so much looking forward to it. and wanted to open a shop, but such i never can see as profitable, for sure not as architect, our economy is anyways totally messed up to dumping prices.

so how much should the maintain rate be and is it supposed to raise to such ungodly rates when u put in some high end items? its not to expect to sell every day a structure or houses, but with such fees, its ruining me instead of helping :/

pls give me advices and tell me your vendor expiriences

im surprised you merchant firends don't know this, it's really the only good bug we have...npc vendors cost 1 maint....and after you get the efficiency it's somewhere between 0 and 1..but displays as 0.

all droids and terminals cost huge amounts of maint to run based on the total value of the titems for sale
