If you give up Advertising 3, do your planetary advertising gets turned off?

This can't be that difficult a question

Well, regardless of the answer to the question, wouldn't it be dishonest to give up ad 3 and still keep your vendor listed on the global map?

Actually it is probably quite a difficult question. Anybody who has given up Ad 3 has probably given up the merchant profession, so probably doesn't visit this board. Plus I doubt there are that many who will test it for you, the skill points take a while to get.
