Is this normal?
I just started Merchant today. I have one of those big Box terminals you get with Business 3 and a plain NPC vendor I got with Novice Merchant.

Yes. You will notice at the top left of that screen a selection that lets you determine what you see from Galaxy down to the actual Vendor. This is so you can manage your many vendors from one locaton (with limitations)
Your customers only see items on the vendor they are accessing.
