Hello all. I've only recently begun stocking and using vendors, and have come across an annoying problem.

I haven't been able to find a way to permanently arrange items I am stocking in a specific order. I can hit the buttons at the top to temporarily list the items by name, type, etc. but it doesn't stay permanent and my customers aren't seeing it organized.

Hence, I have a Republic Blaster at the top, and then another one 3/4 down the page all mixed in a jumble. Pistols wont stay with pistols and grenades wont stay with grenades.

Is there a way I can specifically order the way the vendors item list is presented to my customers to make things easy for them to find and not look so chaotic?

Short answer.. not really.

The default sort seems to be the order in which you placed the items on the vendor. There isn't anyway to change the order, you can resort as you have seen but that has to be done each time someone looks at the vendor.

I would not worry about it much, most people are used to this and will automatically sort the view of your items in the way they want when they access your vendor. Remember that if you could set it up to display how you like it, then it is guaranteed that your customers will want to look at the items sorted in another way.

Yes even if you could get it exactly the way you wanted they would come in and change it. I visited weaponsmith vendors last week and because I was just looking for special weapons (I wasn't really in the market for any one thing) I sorted by price to see what the high priced stuff was
