Thread: Any tips on merch xp?
I've placed all the vendors I can in different high traffic spots on the galaxy, stocked them, and set a 1cr access fee. Im advertising my shop on the bazaar as well. Im sure I'll get more business once I get advertising 3. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to make this go faster. I started novice merch first. Since then I've become master artisan, master tailor, and working my way through chef now and the Merchant xp is coming sooo sloooow. I don't have a PA and dont know many people so that won't work.
I'm just desperate to get merchant xp now to sell my Mastered goods.
Thanks in advance.
yes..have a lot of vendor sitting around
buy and sell a lot through vendor
remove the access fee, cause it is annoying to people.
Totally agree about removing the access fee. It's not the amount, but the crappy interface that will make people less than eager to return to your shop.
You sure you're in high traffic areas??? My defnition of this games high traffic areas are South Coronet and Soth Theed. Imo, nowhere else matches these routes. Even the bestine=anchorhead route doesn't get as much cause few without good combat/scout skills venture there...well, speeders may change that some.
I entered tempest with no friends, no PA, just me. Plopped down a house in one of the very best spots in south coronet on the beach. From day 1, I got tons of visitors. Since then, I've opened two tents there and a showroom in south theed. My Coronet shop clearly gets more more traffic than the theed location.
What are you selling? I started with travel packs, light clothing and furnishings and those are the items that got me to master. Now I specialize in furniture, city items, powerups and repair tools...with some other stuff thrown in.
-have many vendors.
Well what I did and is working. is Have a vendor at your player city and / or (if not apart of one)talk to a mayor of another city and have a vendor there. Also TAKE out the access fee!!!! I do have a vendor at my house that have an access fee, but once I get master armorsmith I am goiing to take that off and make that one special offers.
