I have done preliminary tests on TestCenter this afternoon for the fix for the resource listings on the bazaar/vendor. I am going to try a few more tests tonight to make sure but so far it seems like it is working fine. Lets talk about the good news and the bad news.
1. Good: All new Resource Listings now have the name and amount again.
2. Bad: Any listings made post Pub 9 patch will have to be withdrawn and relisted (Unclear if you can just pull into stockroom or if you have to pull them into inventory. I'll try to get an answer on that tonight)
3. Jury is still out: The word is that all OLD listings (before Pub 9) should be fixed automatically with the change. This SHOULD mean that you shouldn't have to relist anything that was on the vendor/bazaar prior to 6/29. This is not a definite because there is no easy way to test it on TC because of the time since this bug first appeared on the server.
If any of you have characters on TC and can test #2 please let me know the answer. I don't have any old resources on a vendor over there and I am going to be bugging the other correspondants to help me test it.

I don't see why they couldn't pull the db info from the new listings - but I've only done limited resource listings on my vendor since patch - anoying yes - unworkable no

The worst part is if it was this easy to fix, why even let it hit the live servers anyhow, especially if they have known about it for a month as it seems they have.

Now if they would just concatenate the resource name, class, type & quantity we would have it all.

THis is one of those Rare blunders that hold no excuses and simply never should have happened in a game well over a year old.
someone had best be looking for a new job right now because of this.
THis current patch simplt seems to have broken far more things than it fixed.

The hotfix didn't go in today because they had some issues with it, its scheduled for Tue at this point. I'll do more testing over the weekend.

Because the mighty Jedi were holding the devs hostage and would not allow it.
Seriously, no clue. It was known for a long time, but they did nothing, and let it go live anyway.
Hopefully, the hotfix will resolve the issue.

help!
im a resource dealer and ive been nerfed!

I'm truly surprised that this bug made it to live. But then im not surprised at all, because we've kinda come to expect this sort of thing. 1 thing being fixed leads to 2 things being broken. I'll call it "Sony's Law".

oh man this is rough I had planned on a tailor loading up all of her going of business stuff this weekend but there is no way I am going to do that and then have to reload all the resources again.
