Going to make another thread so that it doesn't get lost this time hehe.
I received 6 emails so far saying that because I failed to pick something up the auction has expired. The problem is that they were not items from the stockroom, but items that were on sale, and they poofed. They never went to the stockroom, just got deleted after 30 days, and I got that mail.
I've only got those emails from the items listed on one vendor so far, out of 6. I keep receiving the normal unsuccesful auction emails on the other 5 vendors, but everytime an item expires from vendor 6, it poofs.
This bug is pretty serious for me, I've lost over 60k of items so far, and it should get fixed ASAP as far as I am concerned. I don't wish to see all my items poof instead of going to the stockroom after 30 days.
Sent a /bug about it and going to post in the 'in live bug' threads.

Same happend to me, at first I wondered if I bought any items and failed to pick them up, but it keeps doing it.... I have a theory, they may be items that went to the stock room and were put back on the vendor from the stock room.

This has happened to me to, I have received about 12 of them in the last few days.ButI did notice one thing. One item was uniquely named and it was purchased by acustomer first. Then the email followed shortly after. I dont think im losing money. I kind of think it has to do with the auto retrieval, if the purchase by the customer doesnt go into his inventory automatically, and he has to manually retrieve it, we get notified.

I don't think so... None of the items that disappeared this way were bought by anyone as far as I am concerned.

It's a possibility... But why would we get a message then as it's not in our stockroom? In any care, it isn't working right.

Ok..we need more facts on this. I haven't gotten any of these yet myself so I dont' have a clue what might be happening. The idea of the available tab being purged creating these is a very real possibility. Please track these issues and see if you can see a pattern. If you are sure you have lost items that are expiring from For Sale please put in a ticket and PM me the # details so I can ask the devs to review the information.

It's hard to say, the 6 items that expired were crates of spices, and that vendor is full of them so I wouldn't be able to tell if they were on sale or, as suggested above, just some someone didn't retrieve (two days in row though, which seems kinda weird). I'll try to keep track to see if it happens again.

Yea I know this is going to be a tough one to prove one way or the other. I had a bunch of stuff expire yesterday and none of it went missing so it isn't that simple. We're going to need to try real hard to come up with patterns here.

Ok this is the reply I got from the CSR
It seems that you are receiving these emails after the fact. If you have had any items deleted in the stockroom before due to the 7 day time limit, you will recieve these emails. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Good luck and take care!
So my conclusion isthat CSRs won't be any help, as she obviously didn't read my ticket at all, and this reply doesn't even make any sense. I replied insisting that the items were not in the stockroom, waiting for a reply now...

I've been getting these emails and I know they are things that were in the stockroom, but things that I had just checked on and I know should have been fine. I have checked them because a number...a very large number...of my things are just GONE.
I mentioned to a new person that I would pay him for Bantha Statues for me to resell, being new and desperate, he gathered friends and presented me with 200 Bantha Statues. I put them on on vendor and they are ALL gone...I know I sold some but *all 200* are gone, some of them had gone to the stockroom and been put back on sale, but they never went back to stockroom again, I never got an email saying they had gone off sale, they are just GONE.
I know that everything that fell into the stockroom on June 10th disappeared from inventory within 7 days.
Has something changed? Do we not get as long in stockroom as we used to?
I had over 2k items on vendor and have been having a "going out of business" sale. I know I have sold a ton, but there are a great many things I never got emails about selling and I have doubts that I did but since I can't prove it, I'm guessing I'm just out of luck. I had huge mulitiples of some things that I just don't think there is anyway they could all be gone....over 50 dead fish are gone???

It's always been 7 days in the stockroom.

Maybe it has always been meant to be 7 days, but it has not ever actually BEEN 7 days. I have had a vendor on Kettemoor since the day you could place one. Usually each vendor has more than 1k items on it. I can remember the days of everything falling off every 7 days....but that changed and the stockroom changed with it....now maybe that was not what was meant to happen but the reality is that that IS what happened.
I have "stored" items in my vendor, not with the intent of using it as storage, but have taken more than a week to get back to things on occasion, I've even gone on vacation in the last year for more than a week...and I've never lost anything like this.
Now, if you tell me that they have decided to start enforcing how they have always intended it to work, fine. But it has not always been the case of 7 days in stockroom and things completely disappear.
