what happens if you offered something to someone's vendor and they destroy the vendor? is the item also destroyed?

That is my understanding. Along with any item you purchased but didn't retrieve (maybe your inventory was full and you had to come back) or any item you offered to the vendor and it was rejected and you haven't picked it up yet. There was talk of moving those items to the local bazaar available screen when a vendor was deleted but I don't think that has been implemented.

I lost 200k of Akasa Polymer (for those not on the Gorath server, it's the only resource to spawn with 1000 OQ, old, and worth quite a bit) because someone removed their vendor with the offer on it.
