Is there a way to send an email to more than one person? I seem to rememberreading a way to do this. It would be nice to mass email your customers whats on your vendor occasionally or to announce a move (which I just did).

I'm sure somebody has an easier way but I'll offer my method.

Open up your Friends list. There is a button labeled "Select All." Click that then click the "Mail" button. A new email message window will open with all your Friends added. Type your message, send it, and you are done!

I also added myself to my own Friends list. That way I get a copy of the mass emails I send out. I also am sure to add the names of players who buy from my vendors.

Hahah! I thought the same thing when I first started but I've only had once person in 3 months ask to be removed. In fact, I get lots of folks requesting to be added to the spam list, er I mean newsletter.

The last patch broke friends list email so it now has a maximum length limit in the To field. If you have over 100 or so people, it won't fit them all in and you'll have to send the same email multiple times.

I do ingame spam =P But its directed spam! I sell stuff on the bazaar for a higher price than I sell at my vendor and then when some one buys it off the bazaar I send them a mail telling htem about a place tehy can get the same stuff they just bought cheaper! Not sure how effective it is.... But I have gotten a few customers that way!

ThanksJennai! I didnt even realize I was cut off at 100 names.

You can just put a semicolon ( between names in the to box to send it to a lot of people also.

Just to pass on a little of what I do. I send a mailing to veryone that purchase an item off the bazaar or my vendor. If they buy off my vendor they get added to my friend list. I have a special group for those that buy power. I then send out mass mailings to all when I get a new item or to my power customers when I restock.

I just tested it - I have 310 people on friends list (probably at least half of them quit months ago but I don't have any way of weeding out inactives). I can email everyone from A through Jajok in the first batch, then through Soul in the second, and the third gets the rest. It limits the number of characters in the box instead of the number of people being emailed - you can tell because the last name in the box usually gets cut off.

Is there an easy way to mass email a city or guild??

for guild type "guild" with out the "

for city type "citizen" with out the "

i typed citizen in the to box and it did not work?
