Merchant Archive

I was looking for a vehicle the other day after an unfortunate incident witha picket plains walker. I was near coronet and saw 3 merchants w/in 700 on the planetary vendors list who stated in their titles they were vehicle merchants. I went out to their shops and nothing. Not a single vehicle. So would it be unreasonable for customers sakes for the planetary advertising to be inactiveif that merchant is empty?

Toughs vendors could have belonged to holo merchants, who just wand the visitors... witch is even more likely if there was a entry fee on the building.
If not they could just have been sold out.

But yes, disabling advaticment when there was nothing left on the wendor would be nice... though if all that was left was a 100.000.000 cr melee weapon power up with a note ...

I guess we will always have that problem.

Easy solution....make an item counter for each vendor and have it displayed with the vendor on the map.

No that would make sense.

It also might scare some people when they see that I have a vendor with over 1,000 items.

I'm guessing this would be a nightmare for the server. How often would it update?

Heck, they could make it part of the server reset or as part of your check on vendors when the are loaded.
