I'm not the greatest merch in the galaxy but my vendor is registered and I log in at least a few minutes every day to make sure it's stocked with at least 30+ items. Once again I travelled to a registered vendor last night to find it completely empty. You guys hurt real merchants business.

I think it's a scam when people register their empty vendors just to lure people there to get the Merchant xp.

ohhh ya, forgot about that....should be a requirement that you have at least 10 items of the appropriate type or it won't let you register it a vendor of that type....

I just made master merch and only had one vendor reg'd, and he always had a ton of goods on him, so I made it the legit way.

This wouldn't be an issue if everytime the vendor was browsed it would update a count in the vendor table saying how many items were available. Then you could see from the map that there was a vendor, but it had 0 items.

ToNOT unregister your vendor when empty is the best way to lose your customers...Save some people hassle. You get 150 xp per hour so it doesnt matter anyways. I think you can spare 50 xp to not tick someone off and have them waste their time.

Sorry, but I'm not unregistering mine when they are empty. I'm a master and don't need xp and I did earn it legit. But the point is, I have vendors throughout the galaxy. I'm not travelling to a planet just to unregister an empty vendor that will be refilled the following day. Perhaps, I'm a bit different as I am in the commodities market and running out of power happens. I can load 7 million units and it can be gone in a day at times or last a week.

I would prefer they just unregister themselves when it reaches a quantity threshold or is empty.

For power, I prefer empty. If it was 5, I could have 5 stacks of 100k, which most would consider far from empty.
