We already have such few features that make these skill points usefull. Now the Dev's tell us our vendors, in alot of cases, wont be needed.. It is hard enough right now to get people to our vendors.. Why will they come now when they can find those same items on the bazaar.. The biggest problem is the voices of us merchants wont be heard. Tons of non merchants have hit the forums praising this, and SOE isn't concerned with our issues of personal vendors.. Maybe this raise could work if SOE made some additions to our class to make it worth wild to have a vendor(Delivery service, maybe make that 6k limit for just merchants with the right box)..

I remember in Beta reading the economy is player based. Well they are moving farther and farther from that.. SOE, you want this to be a free economy, how about removing the bazaar and making vendors really usefull?

How many items do you sell for under 6k?

And I think the cap on items in the vendor is good for Merchants...

I don't sell a weapon for under 6k.. But what happens now is to stay competitive people will now be selling 10k items for 6k, meaning SOE has effectively reduced prices.. I think most crafting classes will find this will hurt their sales on their personal vendors.. Why would tailors even have a vendor now? This is what SOE hopes for, bring all database to one location. They bring in 10 million a month and dont want to buy more memory, its rather pathetic.

Yeah, that's prolly it.. they need to buy more SIMMs. </sarcasm>

So cynical. Stop and think about it before bashing every announcement about game changes.

And if people flood the bazaar with a bunch of crap T21s for 6k you don't think your uber T21s that sell for 22k will still be sought out? Puleeze.

And tailors? I can't really speakfor tailors, but I've never bought clothes from a master tailor that cost less than 6k. That's a heavy flight suit, some robes of honor, some custom made outfits.. etc. At any rate that belongs in the Tailor board if it's Tailor-specific, I'm talking about all merchants and adding value to the Management tree.

So I should sell T21's and rocket launchers on my vendors? Might as well have the cap at 10 items, cause thats all I need.

The bazaar was great for non master (profession) to sell their stuff, alot of masters didn't bother flooding the bazaar with stuff cause 3k for a master made item was to little.. Now 6k makes it in range for alot of items, which in turn hurts the up and comer..

Search my posts and show me all these times I have bashed "every" announcement. I can also, think of more professions this will harm then just mine, maybe you should.

That is very true. As a master armorsmith, even my failed items are better than a novice's "good" items.

I already sell my failed for the 3k on the bazaar, even though it is worth more. I just can't sell them in my shop, they looks bad.

At least there is a 20 item limit on the bazaar.

How many tailors that you know only stock 25 items at once?

The bazaar is not for mass selling. The 25 item cap does that. No professional crafter will use the bazaar. Powerup vendors don't use the bazaar as their main selling tool so why would a weaponsmith that has 200+ items normally on a vendor?

Its not the effect of one person addition the bazaar, its the shift of 40(per profession)that will effect the bazaar.. I dont know how anyone thinks these 2 changes will HELP merchants at all.. If they add more features for us then maybe it will equal out. But, as usual we are looking at a bandaid for database issues, so i expect little from SOE.

Well i sell tons of items for under 6k. I am a smuggler/merchant. I sell crates of spices for 3k to 5500. I sell slicing equiptment for 2500 to 6500and yes i move alot of items. I sell muon gold for 5500 a crate and i move about 30 to 90 crates a day. I prefer my venders over the bazaar. I worked hard for them now i will lose them since there will be no point in visiting my shop, which is on the map and well stocked. Other members of my guild dabbled into merchant for the venders but I went master for the ability to be on the mapso pplcould find us. Now i read that there is no point just sell your items on the bazaar for a 20 credit per sell charge. I pay 21 credits per vender per hour if i have a slow day i lose money on fees. I don't mind a cap but it should get reduced as you get more merchant skills. This would make it evenmore worth while to be a master merchant. I love playing this class and before you think about starting it. Merchant takes alot of work since you have to spend a ton of points and there is the time needed for crafting or finding suppliers that don't diappear in a weak to follow their next holocron.

I dont mind the incress of the bazzar to 6000 but as the cap no way!!!

too low 150 per vendor i keep over 500 per vendor i am the merchant for my guildand have issues with the number there go all the malls as i see it we also need more vendors then i am forced to place more than one profession's items on a vendor tailor and armor ect. Due to the fact there are not enough vendors as the guild merchant that cap will kill us. our guild decided this is the last nerf we are leaving if this goes through. we have been here sence day 1 and 2 and this is stupid..... so get ready for a loss of income SOE
