OMG! dont return thier money!!! IF it auto-withdrew the $$$ without asking you "HEY BOZO, WANA PAY 50K TO GET IN HERE?!" then i could see that. But when you get a little window poping up that says the ammount then that is thier fault. Thats what they are in the game for. You know if that guy went in and found a holo sitting on the floor he could pick up, he would have laughed as he ran out the door with his loot saying "Screw the 50k"!!! He gambled and lost... thats his problem. I would email his azz and tell him to go ahead and report you.. FOR PLAYING THE GAME CORRECTLY!!! How the heck are you going to report someone for having an access fee to thier house?

oh well... 50k isnt all that much, I wouldnt sweat it...

I'm a new merchant, no, not a holo, it said armorsmith..after pike, and was playing around with entrance fees on 2 of the 3 buildings in my little plaza.

The signs on the other two buildings say 'resources for sale next door' and 'RANDOM bargain item vendor next door'. These 2 buildings have a 50k entrance fee. My main building, with most of my vendors has a 5 cr entrance fee. It 's sign says 'RANDOM Plaza Resource Vendor and Loot Museum'.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong but today, a person paid the 50k. Now I don't think I really owe them anything, but I paid it, minus the bank fees. I'm not sure what to do in the furture, and how many people will pay the fee by mistake.

I don't want to remove the fees, I would like to use it as a way to tradeitems to people without others getting to the stuff, just reduce the price on the vendor by the entrance fee. (others would gamble if there is anything on there)

I really think if people pay it, it's their loss, I never paid a fee without looking closly at it.

It was my nephews account and he was very a

People who pay and enter still can't access items in the house, only the vendor, they would need to be on Admin to do that. So they can not steal. But I have decided not to refund any credits in the furture for this reason. The purpose of the fee is to prevent any but the specific person the items ment for from accessing them on the vendor. A thief might troll vendors like mine looking for items at possibly very cheap prices. Than claim they were scammed, somehow.

Oh well, soon I'll be on the map and all wil be good.

why dont you just give entry rights to the people you want to sell to and make the building private?

You can't have a vendor in a private building, so the only workaround is setting an entry fee which applies to anyone not on the entry/admin list.

Haha, one time I had a entrace fee for just 1 credit, and my sign said vendor in them all next door. Well I got a mail from a guy yelling at me that I had an entrance fee that he paid with no vendor inside. He said he would never buy anything from me and was gonna tell all his friends to never buy from me. So funny because one, he can't read the sign ... and two ... It was 1 credit! Oh good times.

Ok, 2 people have blundered into the 50k fee in 2 days. Is it really going to be 1 a day? who needs to sell anything?

On the other hand, I made 750k and counting in 2 days from getting toBus 3 in Artisan. I'll have made 1 million tonite, I expect.

I admit I was gathering some resources to sell before hand, but not a huge amount.

Place the entry fee at 100 million, then give entry rights to the person you want to use the vendor. No one can accidentally pay 100 million credits, and the person who you give entry to still can't pick anything up.

If someone DOES pay the entry fee, its one of those infinite monkeys.....the one who doesn't write Shakespear......

The entrance fee has been capped at 50k. I only found out about it on the forums. So we can no longer set large fees as a way of maintaining control of who can or cannot enter a building to access a vendor.

Don't let the negative AFKophobes get you down. Play the game however you want.

Is the beta testing almost over for this game?
