Thread: Doc:Vendor limit implementation warning?
Before the mountain falls on all us Mohammeds, will we be given a warning of the date this limit is patched in? Will we be given a grace period to reduce our stock down to the new limits? Or will our stock be safe, but no more can be added until we fall below the new limits? Or will we have to unload our current no-limit vendors (finding somewhere to put all that stuff! /cry like a baby) and then create new low-limit vendors?
Ooo? If they make it so you get higher limits as you go up the merchant levels, will we have to unload, destroy and then recreate new vendors each time?

It was mentioned by TH that IF they do the increase thingy, then it is likely you would have to destroy and recreate vendors to get the new benefit. Of course that leaves the age old problem, that if you lose the skill you have to destroy and recreate the vendor to lose the benefit. Yay progress, NOT.
Something to do with the system not being able to handle on the fly changes like that... sounds like a real band-aid fix.

The last word I have on this is that due to the feedback from this commuinity and the player base as a whole they are reworking their plan for vendors to accomodate some of the ideas. That is pushing the whole decision out a month or two and we are supposed to get a warning by way of another post in the Development forum I believe.

Sounds that way. It will not be in the next publish(I remind you the devs have said this before and lied) and I am pretty sure the next publish includes the imperial crackdown.

They never actually said it was going to be in publish 6 (January) but I think it was pretty apparent that it was. Currently I don't know what publish it will be in but it won't be 6.
