Thread: Proposal for a new ability for merchant to advertise his/her wares.

Iwas standing at Dantooine MO the other day and watching all the peole spamming their wears and thought to myself 'apart from droids and planetry map advertising' we don't realy havemuch more than the average player to advertise our goods' and got to thinking, how about if a master merchant was given a diferent color to his/her text in the speach bubble,just so thata dedicated merchant has a slight upper hand to someone who has no merchant skills.
What fo you guys think?

colorization of text in spatial speech was removed
you can still color tells auction emails and the like
but all public veiw speech is now void from such colorization

Well, he knows that it is removed. He was not asking how, he was suggesting master's should be able to. If it was something that was in the game at one point (which I didn't know it was), then I think that it is a little more plausible. They really need to make master more worth it somehow...but I'm not going to hold my breath at this point in time.

I don't think this is a very good idea.
We should be thinking of ways to advertise our wares without spamming, instead of thinking of ways to decorate our spam.
I usually send spammers on a one-way trip to /addignore. I encourage others to do the same. When spammers are gone, players will be more likely to use the planetary map, the bazaar-vendor search, the overhead map, and word of mouth to friends.
Spammers do more hurt than good, in my opinion.
