Going after the NumVendors x 150 x Hours rule, I should have gained about 25000 MXP or more by now, however did my XP bar only move like 1350 MXP (which comes from sales I think). Is there something wrong again with the merchant class?

XP gain seems to come in lumps. It's kind of weird how it works finefor a day or two then stops or slows downfor awhile. Not sure what's up with that. I can get twentycustomers in my store one day and get 8K XP. The next day I get ten customers and I only get 500XP. Some days, even though I have customers, I get no XP at all.

i need to realy fix this or even it out or something i got 4-2-4-4 and its me seeing get onyl 100xp per hour when i sould get over 1k a hour grrrrr

Don't worry too much about not getting the exp -- it isn't worth much. I am sitting on 80k exp, but the boxes aren't worth the skill points. If there was anything to gain by advancing, the exp might be worth worrying about.

As it is, being a merchant is something you can do just as well without the skills the game gives you above novice merchant. At novice you get an NPC that doesn't charge you more than the bazaar to sell things. Maybe some management is worthwhile if you really have use for more vendors (like a second location). The other boxes save you a few pennies, or don't work.

Of course the titles of Propagandist and Manager are kind of cool -- worth the price of a new hat at least.

Same here, my merchant exp bar has almost completely stopped now =(

I am the same way but just about the time I am getting really pissed, the surge of XP hits and makes me go "what the ....". Was barely getting 100 XP a day with 5 vendors and a ton of traffic and then BAMM ... got thousands of XP at some point today when I was at work.
