Now that we have a Vendor Item limit preventing us from using Vendors as storage facilities (bye-bye Vendor: Supply Clerk, hello 6 small houses), I'd like to see the 30 day limit removed from our vendors.
A lot of us have items that we need to have in stock, but which don't move very fast. Once all of the fixes to the vendor breaks that happened with this publish are over (like we expected it to go any other way...) I will be putting up my vendors and restocking them, which will mean some 3000 items that will expire all at once.
I don't really look forward to the restocking after 30 days, and I really shouldn't have to. That timer was installed to make it more difficult to use vendors as storage facilities, so it is no longer needed.

YES!
Just ONE button, and all items chosen return to the sales area of the vendor for their previous price (and a
button for choosing all), then all would be happy :-)
Please ...

I think there has to be some limit, otherwhise you could just put up one item for 999999999 credits and your vendor would never ever poof even if you quit the game, your profession or just give up your shop. However, I think it may be time to increase the sales timer to about 60 days or so.

nah. I want the 30 day time limit, because if items listed indefinately buddy who quits tommorrow will still have his 12 vendors with their worthless overpriced crap listed on the world map, and sitting in his house 12 months from now.
The 30 day sale limit helps to keep the worthless vendors off the map. It becomes too much effort for the noob to keep vendors up and running when all he's selling is overpriced worthless crap.
All I want is a relist button. 30 day item timer, and a relist button where all you need to do is highlight everything in your stockroom and hit the relist button.
That would be divine.

Remember folks, that SOE is doing monthly house cleaning now to remove items from the game from accounts cancelled beyond 6 months. I personally believe it should be half that time, since if you haven't come back by 3 months, you ain't coming back.
Also, empty vendors disappear from the map now, so those that are left won't be an issue if they are empty. Also, vendors that are "unused" for 2 weeks also go poof.
All of these things combined makes it unneccessary to continue with the sales timer.

but they wouldn't be empty... they'd have a handfull of overpriced crap for the full 6 months until the account was cleaned out. (and plenty of people come back after half a year or more)
And I do believe that unused for 2 weeks bit only applies to empty vendors yes?

The 30 day limit is also good because it gives me some idea of what's not selling, too.
The 30 day stockroom needs to stay, and we need a 1-button relist (with price AND description).
Items I choose to relist one at a time should keep their old information but allow me to change it before submitting them for sale.
A 60 day total cycle is more than enough time for someone who has to take a short break from the game.
