Thread: Vendor Emails: Request

Now that Merchant have enough vendors to spread out a little bit, could we please have the following information added to the sales/unsuccessful emails:


Vendor Name:

Planet:



I think the above would be pretty easy for the Devs to add.


Also it would be freakin' awesome if they could invesitgate how to include the following information (which is all either in the product details or a function of the vendor)


Item sold:

Variation of:

Sale Price:

Tax:

Net Income:


This not only would allow us to know exactly which stock room we need to go work with, it would allow for easier product tracking. (with the /mailSave feature, if the email included this info it would be a simple task to read that into excell or some other application)



So for example a sale email might look like:






Vendor Sale Complete!


Sale Details:


Vendor Name: Myshak's Weapons - Unsliced

Planet: Lok


Item sold: Vibro Knuckler {base:37-146/2.2}

Variation of: Vibro Knuckler

Sale Price: 17000

Tax: 10%

Net Income: 15454

It would also be nice if the "status" emails could wait like 2 minutes before sending.

I mean, I initialize my vendor and immediately get an email that tells me that it's empty and will be deleted in 2 weeks.

Then when I put the first item on it, I get another email saying that everything is ok and life goes on.


Just a little delay once a vendor becomes 'empty' before generating the mail to see if an item will be loaded shouldn't be all that hard to do and wouldn't make a significant difference in the timeliness of getting a 'real' message out to someone who's vendor has actually gone empty.

Helpfull info true.


But in my travels of trying to figure what vendor dumped what and where, I realized you can reapply a sale from any of your vendor locations. Meaning, if I have a vendor on Lok that drops 30 items into the storeroom, I can go to my vendor on Tatooine, select entire galaxy under the stockroom tab, and reapply all the sales from there. They will go right back onto the appropriate vendor. The only real thorn is not knowing what the sale price was originally.

When I remove an item from my vendor, I really don't need the "auction unsuccessful" email. It serves no purpose whatsoever. Lately I have been spending as much time deleting email asI have crafting. Seriously.

Please do not resurrect the post, but it could be good reading to toughs have not seen it yet (so we avoid rehashing the same thing over and over and over and over). Bless the wonders of the search function
