Merchant Idea #1: a marketplace area in non-player cities. It would use a lottery system to select random merchants to be allowed to place a tent in specified lots within the city where they could set up a vendor for a few days and player to player sales in major traffic hubs.


Reasoning: to add more substance to non-player cities, and make them more than a hub for travel to an outer rim planet or a place to get buffed. This would add a great deal of player immersion as well as benefit the lucky merchants and their crafters by allowing a huge amount of traffic to browse their wares.

basically the same concept as the "add merchant flare" post, but his was in a couple days before mine. I never saw it.

I'm not sure how this would mesh with my No.2 idea, but its only a concept anyways. I'd love to see a real player marketplace inside of major cities.
