does it really help your business, or not?

Though not to that point myself yet, I would imagine it does. I use the planetary map to find vendors when I'm looking to buy something usually. So it certainly helped those whom I bought from. But I would have to say word of mouth is the most powerful. So many people don't know how or don't want to bother with looking at the map and just shout out asking where's a good weapon shop or whatever they seek.

I think it helps... it's just a pain to re-register every day.

May not help business much, but it sure saves a lot of hassle when people ask for waypoints

It's worthless. People don't look there and explaining to them how to do it is twice as much work as emailing a waypoint and tends to irritate customers.
