Merchant Archive

I always thought a Quarter Master was a person who got things in the army. I was hoping to name my frachize the the QuarterMaster, but apparently there is annother meaning to it. I keep getting a please mane the vendor someting less lewd type message. Also I can not name my Harvesters QuarterMaster. But I can put it on the Sign to the house with no problem.

Any Suggestions ?

I've had problems off and on with naming droids, vendors, and my houses. I'm as confused as you with some of them, and why they're classified as offensive.

Some names I've tried to use are RoboMerchant, Merchbot, Merchantbot (for droids), I've also tried my character's last name on some of my vendors to make it look like a family run business, but it's offensive (Arc'hantael, why did I get to make it in the first place?).

I'm not sure why the filter is acting the way it is. Maybe we aren't allowed to use " ' " in names... does anyone know the rules for naming vendors?

It is a bug, everything is of color to the filter. We have all come to the conclution that it looks for letter comps, and it has a lot of 2 letter combos in it.

That is why most guilds have 2 or 4 letters for names and nothing else. I am sure *cross fingers* that it will be fixed soon.

BTW, I like the name, after the bug fix, go with it

Cool Thanks for the update. I was beginnig to figure the server thought I ment I was a master at the game Quarters. Granted we Scots can drink, that wasn't the reason for the name.

There are a lot of names in the filter that aren't obscene, but that we're not allowed to use. And we're receiving the same message either way.

I have problems anytime I use the following words:

The

Merchant

Master

Smith

I'm sure there are others, but I haven't spent a significant amount of time compiling the list.
