Thread: Just wondering if this has changed...
I can't place a person in someone else's house, so I was wondering if you could trade vendors yet? Could you sell a vendor through a vendor?
Plz give me a quick reply...
(I know that they took it out at one point...)
Last I checked you are not able to trade vendors or sell throughother vendors.
But there is a work around.
Its called /transfurestructure, and if you have the lots and the building owner trusts you it works just fine. I have 2 buildings with my vendors in them that I do not own. The owner of the building uses the transfer command to give me the building (intact with furniture and all). I then deployed my vendor and transferred the building back to the original owner.
The building owner has ZERO control of my vendor, and is completley unable to affect it (other then by using the /rotate command).
I maintain full use of and control of my vendor and have no admin accessto the house or its contents.
Now there may be some negative effects to this that i am unaware of, but to this point it has worked very well for me.
