Cross-Over post here. I am an expert armorsmith (should get Ubese Personal Armor level this weekend) and I am looking for a merchant to sell my wares when I make Master(maybe sooner). I am looking for this for 3 reasons:

1) I read the constant horror stories from other Master Armorsmiths about the constant /tells asking for padded and composite armor, and asking for prices and stats, to the point where they have to keep their 'AFK' up all the time. ATM I am getting several tells an hour asking allready. I do not want to stuck sitting infront of a crafting station all the time filling orders. I want to craft when I want to craft.

2)I have read in other posts about how artisans just get business 3 or 4 and use the blocky Vendor to sell stuff out of there "homes" and not using those who's profession is actually to sell things. A complaint that merchant cannot be a stand alone elite/hybrid profession. Mush like how armorsmiths need tailors to advance thier craft merchants should be used by other crafters to sell their wares.

3) For me to be effective in selling my armor,I would have to sell it on the bazzar on the cheap, then send a /tell or email to the buyer telling him where my shop is for higher end stuff or run thru cities /shouting out the coords to my vendor, tieing in with #2, doing that subverts the merchant profession, and tying in with #1 its not very fun to running and shouting and sending annying emails, which are basically "spam" and may annoy people. I also have only 15 skill points left and would rather not use them to become a merchant.

If any merchant on Corbantis is interested is making a business deal you can either reply to this post, /tell, or email me in game (bonus if you know a slicer who we can cut in to slice the armor). Please include you in-game name and planet you primarily operate out of.

Kneelocked, I'm looking for a Corbantis merchant too. Last night I kept doing the search while I was in Kor Vella but couldn't find anyone. Tonight I'll go scout out Coronet, there's gotta be a better chance in that city. If I find one I'll pass along the word to you.

Kneelocked, I am starting up a cantina in Mos Eisley's western suburbs. My grand opening party is in two weeks, and I am expecting a lot of customers to show up; I am expecting to sell out of everything. My shop caters to Corbantis's population of Japanese players and I think they will form a loyal client base.

I have vendors that will sell spice, pets, food, drink, etc., but I don't have an armor supplier yet. Send me an email or tell in game and we can discuss things further. I do know a smuggler who slices weapons, and I'll ask him about his armor slicing abilities. I'm not sure what he would charge for slicing.

Thank you for the support thus far in my campaign to find a merchant. I too have been hitting the larger cities in game and doing searches for merchants. I also have come up dry.

I just perused the Dev Tracker and the "uberpatch" should be out early next week (check the 'In Development' link on the main SWG page to find out how all profs will be affected). What this means for us Armorsmiths is, if everything makes it in, the armor segments will have an impact on the overall quality of the armor(now even crit fail components can still make a "amazing" final product), they optional components of the 'Layers' branch of our tree sould finally fixed and hopefully make Tantel Armor usable. Socketed armor pieces, you can finally use your +5 rifle skill enhancer bonus in armor, not just clothing. And prolly the biggest one will be hueable armor....yes we will be able to color armor! I am expecting huge business in this. Black Chitin breastplates with deep red Biceps, any color other than pink for Mabari....Im excited for this, Im so glad I went up the technique tree first!

Just another imparative reason I find a mechant willing to help me sell.

Hello Kneelocked and others,

I'm a rather successful merchant near Kaadara on Naboo that sells a wide variety of goods. I sell wares form approximately 1 dozen suppliers, and am currently short an armorsmith or two.
