Thread: bot vendors not orientable?
As a fresh master merchant i wanted to greet my customers with a nice rusty looking master bot (the only new feature given to master). I wanted to put it at the end of the entry hall of a tatooian house. I create it...tried to place it facing the customer in the hall, but no way....
There is just no left/right move orientation option on bot vendors. You can not even pick them up to change the location, you have to make a new one each time.
Why allowing those options on npc vendors and not on bots? couldht the bots just act like npc. I do remember D2R2 and his companion speaking, moving and arguing in the original film. They looked like they had some kind of soul, or at least autonomy..
Thanks for your attention.
PS ; i still cant believe master merchants only get one more bot to choose from, not even one more selller, not just an added bot option...how much time did the developers think about this mastership advantages? More than 30 seconds on a 3 years long beta?
Have you tried the /rotate command (/rotate [direction] [degrees])?
/rotate left 30
Yes... This is pointed out often, but some people still need to see it:
/move (forward/back) (Number)
ie: /move back 4
this is based on the direction you are facing, and if you use some cunning you can /move back 1 and forward 1 at odd angles to get something at an "in-between" position
/rotate (left/right) (1-180)
ie: /rotate left 90
Believe this can just be /rot ![]()
/pickup
With an item targeted or with it's name as a parameter. Useful when this option doesn't show in the radial.
