Thread: I'm sure this question has been beat into the floorboards....
But i tried scanning through 10 of the 23 forum pages in place and i couldn't really find a direct answer to my question. If anyone would be so kind as to either a) answer my question (no matter how newb they seem) and not flame me for being new to Merchant or b) drop a few URLs to posts that i may have missed or not seen that have real relevance to my question. Thanks and here goes.
Ok, we have a shop in place and the owner of the shop has a vendor up and running. He has novice merchant and a few skills up the tree. Now i'm not sure how it works, but i've seen it before, where two people have vendors in the same shop. I would like to know how this is acomplished.
Obviously the owner of the shop could stock two vendors and just run the shop that way, but if we have two people running three directions at once, it's really hard to get everyone there at the same time for a vendors stocking Pow Wow.
Now my next part of this question is, if yes, two or more people can have vendors in the same shop How do we do this? So far we have added the other person to the Vendor list on the house control panel and he still can't drop a vendor. We had the shop owner drop a second vendor and the other person still could not stock it.
So there you have it. Some tips, if available would be glady appreciated. And if this is simply a bug, then at least i know i'm not doing everything wrong.

Just for the benefit of others:
Haven't tried it since patch, but PRE-patch, this was the workaround:
Have the owner of the structure TEMPORARILY do a /transferstructure, giving you the house (hope you all trust eachother
).
Then you can plunk down your vendor and give the house back. (or keep it and ban them!)
Once it's theirs again, you will still be in control of your vendor.
We share most things and this was also our workaround for out factories, etc... Suppoosedly the patch ironed some of these issues out...
