I am a Master Tailor who has a large store on Starsider and through much work and effort have become quite successful. I tend to log in in the morning and spend all my time making clothes, stocking vendors, etc. Then in the evening I'll muck about or work my RL job. Most of my sales are in the evening, when I'm off line

You probably know that clothing got sorted into categories now post patch....a KICKBUTT improvement. However, existing clothes on the vendors are listed as 'unidentified object' or some such generic title. I thought hmm..oh well, that sucks but I really don't think I'm going to pull 158 vendor items off the vendor, fill my email box with 158 spam messages, and then relist them all.

Then I thought hmmm, actually would be great to have them sorted into their new categories, becuase then I could just look quickly and see--am I out of boots? do I need to restock low cut tops? So I spent the long hour pulling everything off the vendor into the stockroom, relisting it, and then cleaning up my mailbox (oi vay!).

Surprise! Everything is still listed as 'unidentified'!!!!! All that for nothing, but more importantly, most people do not use the 'all' button to sort their items. I know I do, but apparently most of my customers go straight to the 'clothes button' and probably now take advantage of the new sorting and go for their specific category they need.

I sat in my store and had customer after customer say "where did all your stuff go? I only see one dress listed." etc etc.....I finally made my vendors bark "Welcome! PLEASE USE THE "ALL" button for sorting since categories are bugged post patch"---nice and immersion ruining lol. Not to mention the vendors do not remember this when I log off and everyday I have to redo the whole ad bark again.

Anyway, it's killing me, since my playtime (i.e. stocktime) is day and most people play at night.

So I think we need one orall of the following implemented:

1) ad barking that lasts once you put it on the vendors, including when you log off

2) the ability for pre patch clothing to be sorted somehow

or the easiest fix 3) all vendors automatically default to 'all' category

I relisted all of my vendor items to get them categorized. Yeah, it took a while but it only had to be done the 1x. /shrug

Visits to my shop are down by perhaps 50% (that's very optomistic) and everyone I talk to on all the planets on Wanderhome says the same thing. My biggest hide supplier told me to find someone else because he's leaving. I hate to sound like someone from the IGN-Vault, but I think we're seeing a massive number of people doing the same. A lot of hopes were riding on this patch and it's been a total disaster.

In the latest news vendors aren't initializing when you access them most of the time. They're usable at all maybeonly a quarterof the time since this morning's patch. And the factories still aren't fixed.

My business dropped about 30% this weekend from normal weekends. I'm hoping its a mix of things. But I'm not counting on it to [ick back up anytime soon.
