I'm a crafter and want to sell goods of course. But I don't want to take the merchant tree, I don't want to even take the business tree of Artisans.

How can another merchant place a vendor in my house that I can maintain and configure?

Only the merchant can control the vendor. You might want to form a partnership with a merchant.

That leads to kind of a cool idea, tho. What if a merchant placed a vendor in your house that you could OFFER to? Might be something to do where a partnership between a merchant and an artisan had a lot of traffic ... make it so the artisan could stay at home and craft and "deliver" the goods to the Merchant for later pick-up.
