I noticed a huge drop in XP rate starting about a week ago ... but it still trickles in ... just glacially slow now.

When I was playing last night I noticed I wasn't getting any Merchant XP ... thought maybe my vendors were dorked up but checked them out before I logged out and saw nothing wrong. I'll have to check tongiht to see if I've gotten any more XP, it sucks though since time == XP for vendors and all this time goes by and we're getting nothing.

I have not gotten Merch XP in almost 48 hours.
I have changed out all my vendors and I have sold many items from each one of them.

is anyone else having this problem?

I have 6 vendors out (all working properly) and I have not made any Merch XP for almost 15 hours.

Anyne else had this problem?

There is a post here that is pretty good. From what I have found, everything in this post is accurate.

Basically, if yo uhave no customers at all, you get no exp at all.

I'm in the same boat here, 18 hours and no xp. I've had plenty of sales (and plenty of email). It's particularly frustrating because I'm only 520xp from master merchant.

Hopefully after the restart tonight it will magically appear.

I'm the one that made the post Ikip is referring to. Here's a little update on what I've seen since I posted it.

I've gained less than 6,000 experience points since that post (8 days). That may seem like a lot but I run a place where it's always busy with a lot of sales. I'm close to making my first million credits,selling nothing more expensive than asmall house deed (mainly furniture). I'm not talking a million credits in sales but in profit. It takes a lot of selling to do that.

Someone suggested replacing vendors in a reply to my post. Yesterday morninga couple of my vendors were low on stock so I decided to try it. I replaced two of my six vendors and watched merchant experience. Nothing changed for the first several hours. I decided to take a break for a few hours so I wrote down the merchant experiencebefore logging. When I logged I had 19,100 merchant points. I was logged for close to six hours. When I returned I checked merchant experience and found I had 19,000 merchant points. I lost 100 points in six hours by firing two vendors. I guess I should look at it on the bright side, I could've fired all six and came back to find I needed to train in novice merchant again lol
