Thread: Ok, Question about my merchant in his house...
If I place a merchant in someone else's house what happens?
A) I'm not an administrator of the house, but of the merchant. I get xp and money.
B) I'm not an administrator of the house, but of the merchant. He get's xp and money.
C) I'm not an administrator of either, but get the xp and the money.
D) I'm not an administrator of either and get squat.
E) I'm an administrator of both and get both
F) I'm an administrator of both and get nothing (cuz it's not my lot)
Which of the above is true?

Its been a long tough day and my brain hurts.
Administrator of the structure is irelevent. You need to be an admin to place the vendor. After that you don't have to be an administrator of the house. Any vendor you place you get the xp and the money from the sales. There is no administrator of the merchant there is only you the merchant.
Of course it is possible that my brain isn't comprehending the question.

Well essentially I can place a vendor in someone else's structure if I'm on the admin list of the house and I get he full XP and money? I ask because some guy on here was complaining about putting a vendor in some BH's pad and the BH was getting the XP and money. I didn't understand how that worked.
I have never heard of a vendor that didn't give its owner the money and xp. Are you sure the guy who was complaining was even a merchant? Or was the merchant the BH who was running a vendor for this other guy?
Yes you have to be an admin to place the vendor. But you dont 't have to remain an admin to run the vendor.
LOL
Well I don't know if I would say it just like that..but he can come here and ask for himself I guess.
Well of course you can't! But I can ![]()
I think he did. I think it was the bloke with the multiple problems, here on the board. I forget who it was.
IIRC The previous complaint was about an enterance fee. The artisan (doesn't take merchant) who places it gets neither XP or money on an enterance fee to someone else's house.
It is a service you can offer to Entertainers who want a cover charge. I have done it, though I didn't ask for a fee. It did leave me with free entry though :-)
Just want to add a little comment.. If you place a vendor in a house, charge an entrance fee of 1 cred, but then /transferstructure to someone else, you'll get xp for the vendor, but every time someone pays the entrance fee, the houses new owner gets the 50xp.
