Thread: Vendor Gone Poof
what happened. I was using my vendor earlier today and logged, then once i logged back on the vendor was gone. I tried to have someone else see if it was there and i tried reloggin all the way out. What is going on?
Could maint. be the culprit? I thought when maint goes down you either gotr an email or your vendor just stopped accepting items for sale. Any ideas? btw allthe other regular items are in my house.
I run...or at least I USED to run a weapons vendor on Eclipse. Along with a master merchant in my PA I had set-up a vendor with about 80 or 90 weapons on it, roughly two of every type. It had about 140 days of maintainance in it and everything was ok.
Then today I am hanging around our mall, some guy shows up and wants a flamerthrower, 'in my vendor' I tell him, only to find my vendor is no longer blummin there!! The thing has dissapeared, no-one else can see it either. It has taken well over a million credits worth of weapons with it too.
I have submitted a CSR ticket but I just know they aren't gonna do anything useful like give me the money or equivalent resources. Its this kinda thing that makes people leave the game...I was thinking of quitting not long ago but stuck it out for the 'big patch' and of late I had been having a real good time, especially with the introduction of Player Cities, butthis was a real slap in the face and I frankly cant be bothered to play.

It is possible the vendor will show back up after a server reset. The best bet is to keep pressure on the CSR to try to find a solution. There have been more reports of this since the patch.

Is there any way to get some dev attention to this matter? The CSRs are completely in the dark on this and seem have to recourse to help us.

I'm going through the same problem. I had my vendors up and running. But soon as I went back to my house to check on them. They wasnt there. I tryed to make some more vendors but the msg told me I have my limit out allready. MAN I HATE MERCHANT SKILLS. **edit** these HoLocrons.....
Everyone who has a missing vendor please post on the post at the top of the forum about it. We are trying to compile enough evidence to help the devs find this problem.
this happened to me only thing i found was that when the server reset someone did not wait for all objects to show up and ran from city to place large harvester right next to my house .so what i think happened to me was as my house loaded the vendor was not seen by server only the large harvester just i bit under my house .waited for 3 days nothing so i moveed out away from town .now 6k Mfrom city with my house and hope it will not happen again.won't go into what they did for me as i was to pissed and told them i wanted nothing and deleted ticket,sorry post a bit choppy it's 5:30 am and time to run off to work
