to get it in 3 days were you online all the time?

I have been trying to get novice for a week, but I do not stay online the whole time I have it on my second account and I have been at it for a week and I have 2550 xp...

OK, this is all hear-say as no one knows exactly how XP is gained but..

1. You don't have to be online.

2. YOU don't have to be in the same room as the Vendors. But, someone has to. You gain XP by people looking at your Vendors.

3. Novice Merchant... I have no clue. When I took Novice Merchant, I had enough XP for a level 1 skill already. I was selling stuff on a Vendor as an Artisan so this is probably why I got the XP before taking Merchant.

Ways that seem to be agreed on for XP:

1. People paying access fees to your shop.

2. People looking at your Vendor.

k but if im not online and no ones is in my room, will i get exp?

Again, someone has to look at your Vendor, whether it is you or a customer. So the answer is no, you gain no XP if no one is looking at the Vendor.

That is currently the case but it is a bug not the intended result. Working with the devs on it now I'll get you a response as soon as I am able.

1. Do i have to be online to get merchant exp?

2. Do i have to be in the same room with the vendors? Or can i go to different planets and cities?

3. Took me 3 days or so to get novice merchant... is this right?
