I'm curious what you Merchants charge for leasing out a vendor.I find it kind of a hassle to keep track of how much stuff was sold, reposting auctions, keeping track of pricing, etc....

I charge 20% of sales. I forward each reciept with the price owed me and the client puts an item up for sale on one of my agreed upon vendor which I then buy for the amount I owe them.

I charge 25% to my PA members, though I buy the items out right from the person. Much of my stuff though I sell for twice what I bought it.

PS: I give my PA much stuff. The only reason I charge so much is because it takes so much bloody time.

I don't really do it to make money (I just want to make sure I'm getting paid appropriately for my time). I do it mostly to bring items to my vendors that will attract more customers....customers that will hopefully buy my stuff too. Things such as guns, armor, spice, etc. that I don't necessarily want to front the credits for up front....me poh

That's what I do, too. But I'd far, far rather just pay the money up front and resell it, rather than have to deal with the headaches of consignment.

And a differing opinion is that I am not willing to buy 25 FWG5's that may or may NOT sell and tie up my cash in the transaction. Let the manufacturer wait on their money

Gah! This whole system just sounds like a nightmare too me! Why would you want to do this?

If there's something I think I can sell on my vendors, and find a crafter to sell me crates at an agreed on price, which I sell at a markup on my vendors. When I need more, I buy more. That's it. No cryptic recordkeeping of who owes whom how much or who needs to meet whom where to post sales onto what vendor. Far, far more efficient on time and money if you ask me.
