Thread: Vendor Management/Hiring/Uniforms Question

Ok, here's the scenario. Currently, I'm a Master Tailor/Master Chef/Master Merchant on one of my characters. I can't keep up with the demand of both crafting profs so Im dropping Tailor and picking up BE (to handle my own work there. Just seems to make sense).
That said, I have multiple vendors out there at present. Obviously, I won't need the tailoring vendors so those can go. However, I'd like to keep my 1 storage vendor, and at least 1 Chef vendor (and potentially a third vendor). Now then, the trick is merchant . . .
And now my question:
I used uniforms to add some flair to my NPC vendors, and my storage vendor is a terminal (though I believe a Nov Merch terminal). If I drop the hiring line, will anything potentially happen to my vendors? I'm not trying to keep more vendors than what I have the "ability" for in management, I just don't want to loose the vendors I have currently placed.
Essentially, I'd be 3-0-0-1 Merchant (for the planetary campaign and 3 vendors total), but the current vendor has a uniform and I want to make sure nothing funky will happen to it.

Currently, nothing will happen to the vendors or their uniforms if you drop Hiring.
So far, the devs haven't given any indication that they plan to change this at the time they fix the Management tree.
I'd say don't stress about it. With the glacial pace that changes happen at, if they dodecide tochange the Hiring tree in that way, you'll have a good six months in which to adjust.

Alrighty, that works for me until I can figure something out at least for the long term. Thanks for the answer
