OK Merchants, I need some help here. I just got an e-mail from an unknown vendor about something I put up for sale on a player vendor not being sold to that player. Question is, how do I figure out which vendor never picked up my stuff. I had about 2 million fiber dropped on several vendors after an auction. When I was bombarded with sucessful sales e-mails the next day I figured they were all picked up. But, one stack of 100K was never sold and has now expired. I need to figure out which vendor it's on so I can contact the vendor owner and either re list it or re auction the fiber. Any ideas? I know on the bazaar you can see where your stuff is being held when ready for p/u, can this be done with player vendors?
Thanks for all your input, Zar'don

I don't really know. The email has the name of the vendor right? Can you use that to find it on the map?

No, all that's listed is the region of the planet, where the vendor is located (e.g. Rielig Steppes). There's no wp attached, either. Unless you remember exactly which vendor you offered your items to, it's pretty hard to retrieve your items.
I had this happen to me last week, but fortunately it was just a small 2k stack of resources.

If you saved your emails your best bet would be to back track through those, either that or go back through each and every vendor you dropped on.

What Doc saidis right...the closest you will be able to pinpoint the item to is the region on a planet its on...after that its all on you.
Good Luck

Doc perhaps this should be added to the email issues...
If your auction was on there boards, then why not go back there and get the delivery info... that should also tell you the name of the one that won the auction and the location of the vendor.

Please post that idea in the email thread so when I collect them tomorrow I'll have it. I think it is a good idea.

Ok, what the e-mail says exactly is:
"Because you failed to pick it up in time, the Fiberplast (Leko) 100000 you were auctioning has expired."
That's the entire e-mail, no region, no WP, and no planet. Could be anywhere. I basically did about 6-8 drops that weekend and a few ad hoc requests for additional drops by /t. So maybe 10-12 total vendors that I can't remember because it was a month ago and I do an auction every week for resources.
To everyone that responded, thanks again for all your help.

If you got that email, then the fiberplast has been deleted from the server, as it spent 7 days in the stockroom after the sale ended.
