I got business 3 on my alt to get a vendor for my main char, my friend used an alt to place a vendor and now uses his main char to put items up to sell, I cannot do this, its my main character's house and declared residence, but i can't use the vendor to sell items. How come?

He's probably offering the item for 1cr then the main character comes along and buys it then actually lists it for sale.

It is not possible for Character #2 to manage Character #1's vendors.

Absolutely, positively, 101% certain that there is no way to do, or ever has been a way to do this. Anyone able to do this is not playing SWG.

I have a main char that makes the items and offers them to my alt's vendor. The alt then physically logs in, buys the items, and places them for public sale on the vendor.

Yes, it would be nice to be able to give management rights to a vendor. I would like to see some other things fixed first before they start adding (breaking) other things.

well i was there with him when we initiated vendor with character #1, character #1 was not either of ours but a friends, and that friend stopped paying for it and now its not active, and the vendor still is and character #2 (owner of the house) can use the vendor and place items

Well. Not sure how he does it.. because as far as the system works... it is impossible. I have tried a few different methods, and there is no way for anyone but the person that places the vendor to use it.

Your friend might have gotten business 3, placed a vendor, and then dropped it. That would account for his ability to place items up for sale.

yeah i was prob one of the first merchants on my server -- trust em this is something the merchant community has asked for selling vendors and/or an eisier vendor interface
