I'm an armorsmith and just got hiring 4....but it won't work =(. I give my vendor a weap, and it holds it fine. But when I give my vendor a peice of armor, it eats it. Is this a known bug? Or is my vendor evil and should i shoot it in the face?

Sorry that I can't answer your question, I'm only at hiring 3 (called Uniforms 
) and my vendors don't take any clothes from me 
But could you confirm for me that you can't hire a simple protocol 3PO droid with hiring 4? Is really only a master merchant "intelligent" enough to switch the on/off button of a droid?

im getting the same problem. at hiring 4 i tried to equip my vendors with new clothes. the wookiee vendor was fine he accepted the clothes (he wasnt wearing any to start with ) the mon calimari vendor however thanks me for the new threads then simply eats them. im guessing if the vendor iswearing clothes they cant be changed (which majorly sucks)
