Thread: Creating a vendor makes my inventory smaller. :(

I just trained merchant a couple days ago, and I had a fun time creating and deleting vendors to see what they looked like. After about a dozen or so, I couldn't create any more. It said that my inventory was full, and apparently so because I couldn't pickup any more items, even though my inventory was completely empty.

I ended up having to find someone to deathblow me to fix the problem. Relogging didn't help.

I also tried creating a vendor, placing it, and then destroying it, but that resulted in the exact same inventory problem.

Has anyone else come across this problem and figured out a better fix? It seems that every time I create a vendor, it steals two of my inventory spaces until I get deathblowed.

I'm reading here on these forums that a possible fix for broken hourly experience is to destroy and place a new vendor after a server reset. While that's fine and all, it means that I need to get deathblowed every couple days.

Don't got getting a DB every time that happens! I've had that problem twice and have an open ticket for it. It seems that if I leave me shop/house and (try to) unequip a piece of clothing or armor, ect, that I'm wearing and then go back into my shop, it seems to be fixed. Logging does not fix the problem from my experience with it, as that's the first thing I tried to do each time it happened. Good luck!

Glad to hear that. I just made the switch to NPC and after making a couple I was down to 50/60. Wasn't crippling, but I wasn't too happy about it.

It does clear itself after about 20 minutes. I have had this happen several times.

I've had it as well. It isn't just logging out and logging back in, you need to wait a few minutes before logging back in. I waited ten minutes before logging back in and it seemed to work fine again. You just have to wait for the servers to catch up or something like that.
