I am wondering if some people think Ad 2 doesn't work because they can't find how to do it. It works for me until the server reset which turns all vendor related stuff off.

1-Enable Ad Barking

2-Pick your pose

3-Pick your emotion

4-SCROLL DOWN TO BOTTOM OF CATEGORY list. There will be "Customize" option.

The stupid filter always shows obscene even when it is probably hitting on another kind of rule. It doesnt appear to like most punctuation (including !), doesn't like SWG proper names (like Coronet or Corellia), and doesn't like really long phrases. I can have my vendor say "I sell deeds and stuff", but it wont say "Step right up and get your deeds and other misc items". Short phrases with no punctuation and no proper nouns seems to work most of the time. Every now and then, it filters on something when I have no idea why.

I tried to make my spice vendor say "LOOK AT ALL THE PRETTY COLORS", but had to settle for "TOO MANY PRETTY COLORS". Hmm, maybe there is a char limit. Will have to test that when I get home.

I follow the stpes I do have 3 levels of advertising, but after I highlight customize and click to choose that option, the indow closes and nothign happens.

This never worked for me before, but I just tried doing it today and it did work. So I don't know if they stealth-fixed it, or if something weird is going on.

And I agree, the filter is so severe that you can't really make them say anything useful. I wanted the furniture vendor to say "Samples of all items on display in the house - feel free to browse" but couldn't find a way to phrase it that made sense and would be accepted by the filter.

nice a stealth fix! mabye they are going to stealth fix our other issues *goes back to testing out old bugs

No, actually, after I click customize I get a box asking me to input the phrase I want the vendor to say. Then I enter the phrase, and if it's acceptable to the filter, the vendor starts barking it. Try it - I'm curious whether this was indeed fixed, or if it is working for some people and not others.

Not working on Radiant - and never has for me.

Choosing customize does squat, doesn't even trigger enabled status at all.

Not working for me too. I don't have the box where I should be able to enter my custom text.

I think MOST people here can figure out how to work the radial menu.

It just doesn't work for most of us.

Maybe it works for you, that's great, but for most of us we click custom and get nothing.

Seems to be a bug atm where you need hiring 4 and advertising 2 to get custom greetings to work for you.
