Thread: idea for new business: vendor house sitters
Ok, with the HUGE problem of people leaving on vacations for periods of time, and for all intents and purposes losing everything, here is my idea for a new business venture: the merchant house sitter.
How it's done: the person leaving for a period of time gives the merchant "house sitter" admin control over the building. The "house sitter" createsa single vendorin the building, and items are transferred to the house sitter's vendor. Then the house sitters responsibility is simply to relist the items once a week as they expire. That's it. It's win-win, the person leaving town not only doesn't lose their items but in fact sales continue as normal. The house sitter would command a reasonable fee for this service, probably a decent-sized flat fee + a fee based on the number of items they need to relist on a weekly basis.
I've got a merchant character on Bria that I'd be willing to offer this service for a reasonable fee. Any takers?
