Hearing ya bro.

While I also have other ideas, it is good to hear you are having some success. What you suggest is sorely needed also.

Csin, don't you know yet? They know about, and are fixing or looking into, every problemalready. That's why they appear to ignore the "lesser" professions. It's not that they don't care, they just don't need to listen. And everyone is so busy fixing these bugs ASAP, they don't have time to post to even acknowledge that they know about them. See, it's so simple.

I would be happy with a simple extension on the 7 day limit. Thats the killer for me.... and come to think of it, why cant the emails that tell you your sale has been unsuccessful..why can't it give the name of the darn vendor it was on?

Am I running afoul of the developers vision for the game? I need to know so I can quit banging my head against the wall. Please developers..heed my cries!

I am a..wait for it...a SUCCESSFUL MERCHANT. That's right don't faint but I manage to make a very nice profit selling 100's of thousands in goods every day despite the weaknesses in our class. Today was a particularly good day as I have about 500k units of goods to sell..and I've hit a wall..again..I am dreading logging on because I dont' want to stock each item individually.

CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A SLIDER FOR OUR VENDORS?!

Can it be so hard to let the customer decide how much to buy?

I have a sinking feeling that the 'vision' is for us to roleplay a merchant..rather than actually be one. Please..if this is going to continue to be the view of the developers let us know so I can tone down my trading and concentrate on something that IS in concurrence with the game's course.

Respectfully,

P.S. One of my vendors just took a vacation..thank goodness it was just a few crates of spice that it took with it.

Why can't we just get a UI box, just like the merchant interface, that we can open from anywhere? It could then be assigned to the screen box bar at the bottom right corner of your screen and blink when items hit the stock-room. That gets rid of the need for emails (to me the most annoying part of this whole process). Also, add a button to the stock room that is called 'restock' that would simply put the item back on the vendor for the same price as last time. Then I wouldn't mind the 7 day rule so much.

merchant interface=vendor interface that we currently have by selecting the option to 'use vendor' on the radial dial for the vendors (clarifying my previous post).

That is the sole reason I closed the Cranny Jhava.

Nook when you closed The Cranny it almost broke my heart, and nearly killed my spirit. It was so much fun knowing another full time merchant was slugging away like i was, and it felt good. Im sorry to see you leave the profession.

I also understant how restocking after 7 days is a full time job. I was so angry today trying to reload hundreds of items on 3 planets that i could scream. I would have fired all my vendors except no one else will take the job at the wages i pay. Plus i hear things ... i think my vendors are trying to unionize.... i'll have non of that ... i'll break them i tell you.. break them

Csin,

I do not think you will see this. It was part of our list one week, and I was given the indication that this was not "able" to make this happen.

Glad I'm not the only one up late Marq...

I'd accept an alternate, any alternate, other than giving up.

I am also self made. I started buying cheap stuff (underpriced) and selling them for higher (both vendor and bazaar). I supliment my items by selling power. I am currently on my 3 shift and am looking to doing fusion next shift. I make my own artisan items (except repair tools) and buy the rest from suppliers. On of my niches is reselling items gained through questing. They make great decorations and novilty items.

Im actually writing a how-to guide to this, so you're gonna have to wait for that to be published..

The only leg-up I got was from a nice architect named Atari who gave me my first small generic house the third day of live...I've been working my hump off every since.
