What do premium sales do? It says they are more visible, but I placed a premium sale, and then looked at the auction listings...and saw NOTHING different about my premium listings.
I was thinking that with Efficiency reducing the cost of premium auctions, I could afford to place some of my higher-ticket items on premium auctions, if it meant they sold faster.
As it is, it looks like they just suck more money, and do nothing...does anyone have an answer as to what premium auctions are supposed to do, and if they are currently doing this?

As far as I know it doesn't work, nor has it ever. I assume it's one of the many bugs that SOE is working on.

Personally, I don't think that the premium auction option will ever work. The purpose of the premium auction was to highlight or list your item at the top of the bazaar (as far as I remember), and it will be uselessunless it is EXTREMELY difficult to become a real merchant. Otherwise everyone will just list their items as premium auctions, and it will be like a normal bizaar listing anyway. It's just another useless skill in the business tree.

Here's a quick fix, or work around, for the premium sales. When you craft an item, always put the letter a at the begining of the items name. All lists on the bazaar are sorted alphabetically by default, so your chances for being at the top of the list are better if you add a lower case a to the begining of object names.
