Thread: I just had ALL of my merchandise dissapear on all of my vendors! 3-4 MILLION ...
It's ALL gone, dozens of droids and weapons, 4-6 large harvesters and factories, large houses, PA Halls, countless pieces of composite armor, etc etc. Stockroom empty...
What makes it worse, is all of my suppliers gave me the merchandise on consignment, so I OWE them for it all.
I've bit my tongue for many months, I've not complained about small bugs, things broken, items missing, a total NON-EXISTANT customer service, and general unfinished coding, but this is the final straw.

Did you /bug it, and write up a ticket?
I know it sounds like a waste, but it can only help, god knows they can't take it away again.
If you give me details, like was it there, now it is gone, and so on, i will post it on the correspondant board for you. Also, if others have had this issue, please post.
I had a lot of the items put into the stockroom as "unsold", but they were as recent as Tuesday and Wednesday. These items were missing as well. A lot of them were put into the stockroom last Friday too, but those should still be present.
NOTHING was in any stockroom, including the items that were put there as early as 2 days ago.
If I can't get this settled I will go back to DAoC. I've spent 6 months building my business, and it will take ALL of my profits feom this entire period to repay the people who's materials and supplies were lost in this bug.

Not sure if all you say is true...
Sadly, the devs have never come out and said "7days and they are gone in the stockroom" this is a fairly random number. I have had items poof after 4 days, and as long as 9 days.
Did you have any items "for sale" and if so, did they vanish as well?
If the items were in the storeroom and poofed ... then I hate to say this but that has been a common "feature" discussed here for a LONG time and not sure the devs will help.
It is a well known fact that items in the storeroom cannot be kept there indefinitely. Time periods range from 72 hours to just over a week. My theory is that if you manually withdraw a sale to stick it in the storeroom, you have nearly a week before it poofs. If the item pops there on its own as an "unsuccessful sale", it will poof in 3 days.
Moral of the story is ... do not use the storeroom to store stuff ... heh ...

I had this same thing happen to me. I was always under the impression that you would have a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 7 days that the items would remain on your vendor in your stockroom.
I logged out on Sunday night and all was fine. I was gone Monday, Tuesday and then Wednesday the server was down all day/night so I couldnt log in. When I logged in Thursday I had about 100 emails that said my sale had run its course and was not sold. These emails dated back to late Sunday night (11:00pm or so through Tuesday night (9:00 pm was the last email).
Everything but the last two items was gone. It was all furniture and the cost was probably close to 100k maybe more. I did /bug it last night but havent heard anything.
FYI: My merchant profession are 4 advertising 3 hiring and 2 management.
I am the founder of a guild with over 200 people in it in SWG alone, not to mention 4 other games. If this isn't fixed, I'm done.
Hell, I couldn't even log in due to SOE problems for the previous 2-3 days, even if they changed the loss rate from 7 to 3 days, how am I supposed to go resell the stuff if I can't log in?
I'm a master merchant, I've sold millions of credits worth of things, and it's always been 7 days.

You probably have already checked this, but it may be that the merchandise is there and viewable by everyone but you. This happened to me last week. Runninga complete scan on my system let me see items in the stockroom and the big patch seems to have fixed it or reset something so my vendors are back to normal.
