Thread: Premium Bazaar sales still not really working
Ok, so yes, we now get an asterix symbol next to our premium sales. Good. However, they are no longer, if theyever really were, all listed onthe front pages of item listings. To see what i mean, go to a bazaar, and select a heading that woould have more than 1 page galaxy wide, like armor, or wepons. I did this and saw "premium" asterix symbols on the third and fourth pages. to clear up, on the first page, sorting by Premium Sales, there were 20 listed, and under those were about 80 non premium sales. On the second page, the top 5 were premium sales, the other 95 were not. And on the third page the top 4 were pemium, etc etc etc. Also realize that the onl reason the premium sales were listed on the top of each page was because I had sorted by premium sale. Sorting by name results i the premium sales being scattered all over. Sounds like premium sales still needs work.

Hypothesis: Premium Bazaar sales *are* working, but only for listings created after the patch.
It seems like many bug fixes in the game don't work "retroactively" - i.e., they don't affect stuff that existed before the fix, only stuff created after it.

That is such a perfect point.
No. Premium Listings are an Artisan Skill and we have a lot more to worry about than Artisan Skills. The Artisan Correspondant needs to address this, not the Merchant one. Not trying to be an ass but I think the Merchants have enough to worry about without having to worry about skills from our beginner class not working.
If Maskscent is broken its a SCOUT issue, not a RANGER issue, even though Rangers use Maskscent as well. These need to be seperated or they will go around fixing things for Artisans and saying we should be happy with that.
Skedoozy, It is a Merchant issue, since half of the efficiency tree is for bazaar discounts. If you start taking that attitude, there isn't much left in the profession.
Merchant is a fine occupation, but the professional skills don't help much in persuing it.
