So far as I can tell nothing has changed for NPC vendors. Your NPC vendor rate is 1 until you get Effiency II then it drops down to display 0 though it isn't actually 0..it is just a little lower than 1. Maintenance will trickle out and if you have no maintenance in the vendor it will eventually degrade to 0% and vanish.

Did these maintencance fees get introduced in the patch?

If so, no on told anybody about it.

I have 6 NPC vendors, they all have a zero rate listed.. used to be "1", but for some reason, they had degraded when I logged on yesterderday.

I have heard reports that NPC maintence rates have increased. Anyone verify this?

Seems like the display on my vendors is wrong, and something is ticking away degrading, and no one told me.

Hmmm, wonder why, if this is true, why on earth would a change to a core part of an entire profession go unmentioned?

I just logged on today since the last patch. I checked the status of my vendor and it was down to 80%. At first, I didn't think this was a big deal so I added some funds and realized - my vendor is charging a maintenance fee of 256. It was 1. 10K will get me 1 day and 13 hours.

Apparently something has changed for me. If this is working as planned, I fear I will be closing the doors to my shop simply because I have no desire to loose money running my business.

Can someone confirm this is how it is designed to work?

Lasettie, is the vendor you are talking about an NPC or terminal? So far the maintainence on my NPC mecants has gone unchanged. Both my teminal vendors are gone with no trace. Hopefully this gets sorted out.

My Vendor is a Bulky Machine. I thought I had read somewhere there was a problem with them but now I can't remember where I read it. So no idea if this is a new problem or old.
