30 days is plenty if it hasn't sold by then you might want to rethink your price.

Thanks, that's very good to know And yes, if an item hasn't sold in a week or so, it's pricing does need looking at.

A week or so I can see. I have many items that don't sell in 7 days. But 30 days is enough time to rotate sutff off. If you have an item that is there 30 days later you need to look at it and determine if the price is good for it. Having to relist it seems a small price to pay..once a month. Once a week is a nightmare

Don't forget that if your items sit in the Stockroom for 3 days (some vendors bugges at 24 hours) your valuable items will be DELETED!!!

poof.....Thank you and have a nice day!

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

I've started dabbling in the merchant profession just recently and darn near freaked out when my email was spammed with plenty of "Your auction of xxx failed to sell" or something to that effect. I ran to my vendor and noticed that they were removed and placed in the stockroom of the vendor. That's when I first noticed that there was a time limit for items when placed for sale in your vendor

First of all, why is there a time limit for items there in the first place...especially in my own vendor? And if we have to have that "feature", why isn't it visible on the main inventory screen (like the bazaar)? I had to check eachitem in my vendor one at a time to see how much timewas left....then withdraw and reselltheitemto update the timer.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but being a very newbie merchant, I was very surprised to see the vendors set up this way.
